  Roast Pork with Apple Slices
Roast Pork with Apple Slices A true favourite, real pork makes super crackling. A loin of pork can be cut to suit a single portion and extended to suit a dinner party. Why not ask for extra crackling. This joint will be prepared so that it is easy to carve. Product weight 2 – 12 lbs (1 – 5 Kg).


Cooking instructions:

Place in a preheated over mark 5, 200 C for 20 to 25 min per Ib. (1/2 kg)

Apple slices – Whole desert apples washed and sliced across their width forming ‘O' slices with the core and pips in the centre. Pan fry in a little butter, turning each side until just turning golden. For different flavours, mix the varieties of apples rather than use one type.

A wonderful all year round dish and superb for entertaining. Leave to marinade overnight, add the surplus marinade to the roasting juices a few minutes before serving to use as a sauce. Will serve from single person to large family/dinner party. Ideal served cold and sliced as a buffet with additional cold pickles and relishes.
